Don't trust your motor to the leaky plastic stock air box that lets dirt past the filter element. This setup seals tight as a drum using a round air filter with a bolt on lid just like your classic muscle cars! Cleans up the engine compartment and makes the throttle body and vacuum lines ect. much easier to access and inspect. This setup also eliminates the sticky oil mess that the stock air box has. The Crankcase vents directly into the throttle body throat so NO oil gets in the air box.
